Targeted mosquito capture at the control layer of an outdoor insect program. In a full mosquito program, the trap works alongside habitat management (eliminating standing water) and perimeter treatment where appropriate. The trap alone is control, not eradication. Replace lures monthly during warmer months - quarterly in cooler months.

Professional Installation

Position outdoors in or near the area of mosquito activity. Place the unit in the zone where occupants are affected - not near a building entrance, as the CO2 and lactic acid attractants draw mosquitoes toward the unit. Power connection required (240V). Load the replacement lure into the unit per the installation guide before first use.

15 to 30 minutes for a commercial site including positioning, power connection, and lure loading. Field Deployment

Maintenance

Replace lure every 4 to 6 weeks. Check fan operation and unit cleanliness at each service visit. Wipe exterior with a damp cloth. Waterproof rated - no additional weatherproofing required.

Attractant lures: replace every 4 to 6 weeks. CO2 canister: replace when empty. Catch container: empty on each service visit.

Safety

Place away from occupied seating areas during the initial 2 to 4 week establishment period - the CO2 and lactic acid attractants will initially draw mosquitoes toward the unit from the surrounding area before capture rates stabilise. Once established, the trap progressively reduces the local mosquito population. 240V power connection required - ensure installation complies with local electrical standards.

Mosquitoes locate warm-blooded hosts primarily via CO2 and lactic acid, not light. A UV zapper catches insects that happen to fly near it. This trap actively mimics the signals that draw mosquitoes to people and animals, capturing across species at rates a light-only device cannot match. 200m2 coverage at 3.5W. 304 stainless steel and aluminium with a waterproof rating. Two finishes: Satin Nickel and Antique Copper. Designed to look appropriate in the outdoor dining area, the hotel terrace, or the resort pool deck. This is not a device the venue hides around the corner. It sits where it works, and it looks like it belongs there. Place the trap in the zone where occupants are affected, not near a building entrance where it would draw mosquitoes toward the building. Allow 2 to 4 weeks for the local population to reduce as capture rates establish. The replacement lure (15-VMOSLURE) is a consumable. Without a fresh lure, the trap reverts to UV and warmth only, and capture effectiveness drops significantly.

Warranty

Pest IT warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. It does not cover misuse, incorrect installation, modification, normal wear and tear, or consumable components. Nothing in this warranty limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
