Choosing adhesive bonds for Australian heritage and glass bird management installs
Adhesive bonding is the standard fix method for bird management on heritage facades, glass, and any surface where drilling is not acceptable. Avepro Silicone Bond and Clear Bond Poly hold spikes, wire fix points, and net brackets without damage.
When to choose Avepro Silicone Bond
Silicone Bond is the workhorse for heritage masonry: stone, brick, render, painted commercial. The bond line is visible but the cure is the strongest in the Avepro range. Standard tube covers 5 to 8 linear metres of fix points.
When to choose Avepro Clear Bond Poly 300g
Clear Bond Poly is the right call where the bond line should not be visible on glass, polished metal, or polished timber. Same 300g tube format; clearer cure for hidden installs.
Heritage council acceptance
Avepro bonds are accepted by most Australian heritage councils as a no-drill fix method that does not damage masonry. The heritage submission carries the bond line drawing alongside the install spec.
