Maintenance

Inspect trap structure, hinges, and locking mechanism before each deployment. Clean mesh and base after use to remove droppings and food residue. Store collapsed in the storage bag when not deployed. Replace springs or valve components if tension weakens.

Safety

Monitor all traps daily. Captured animals must have access to food and water at all times. Never leave a deployed trap unattended for more than 24 hours. Observe all relevant state and local legislation regarding pest animal management.

About The Mini Myna Magnet Trap

Indian mynas and European starlings are among the most trap-shy bird species in Australia. They investigate new objects with suspicion and will not enter a conventional single-chamber cage trap. The Mini Myna Magnet uses a two-chamber design that removes this barrier: birds enter the outer feeding cage attracted by food, then their own escape instinct drives them through the 25-piece engineered Fuzzle Valve into the inner holding cage, from which they cannot exit. Up to 20 birds per set. No pre-baiting regime required: deploy and start trapping on day one.
