Integrated Pest Management Role

Highest-specification fly control station in the Pest IT range for food production environments. Glueboard capture provides the species identification data required for IPM audit reporting. In large food processing facilities, multiple units cover the full production floor perimeter, with catches monitored and recorded at each service visit.

Professional Installation

Wall-mount at 1.5 to 2 metres in the zone of fly activity. In food processing environments, position away from food contact surfaces and directly above food product, but within the zone of fly movement. Connect to 240V mains. In wash-down environments, the IP65 rating allows the unit to remain in place during hose-down cleaning. Do not direct high-pressure jets at the lamp face for extended periods.

45 to 75 minutes including wall fixing, power connection, and glueboard loading. Trade Install

Maintenance

Replace glueboard on schedule or when two thirds full. Inspect at each service visit. Replace UVA lamp annually to maintain attraction output. The IP65 housing is cleanable with standard wash-down procedures. Log lamp and glueboard replacement dates for HACCP records.

UV lamp: replace annually. Glueboards: replace on each service visit or when two-thirds covered.

Safety

Mains-powered electrical unit. Install to applicable Australian electrical standards. UV lamp emits ultraviolet light - do not look directly at the lamp when lit. Glueboards are a minor skin irritant - handle with care during servicing.
