Deterrence alternative for solar panels where full mesh exclusion is not achievable. Spikes discourage roosting and nesting at the panel edges. Mesh is the preferred specification wherever the panel profile allows it.

Professional Installation

Remove fouling and nesting material. Clean with AvePro Gotta Go.
Measure the panel perimeter where spikes are required.
Cut 500mm sections to length with tin snips or shears as needed.
Adjust pins to the required angle for the panel gap profile.
Attach Solar Panel Speed Clips (30mm or 35mm - sold separately) to the spike base.
Clip onto the solar panel frame. No drilling.
Ensure coverage is continuous with no gaps between sections.

Approx 2-3 hours for a standard residential array (20-24 panels). Trade Install

Maintenance

Annual inspection.
Check clip integrity.
Confirm no debris accumulation in the spike cluster beneath the panel.
Stainless steel pins require no maintenance.

Warranty

Pest IT warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. This warranty applies under normal use and installation conditions. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, incorrect installation, modification, or normal wear and tear. Nothing in this warranty limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
