Maintenance

Inspect periodically.
Check polycarbonate for yellowing or brittleness (signs of UV degradation).
Replace any sections showing significant degradation.
Check adhesion and refix any sections that have lifted.

About AvePro Possum Spikes

Polycarbonate deterrent spikes for fences, ledges, and building features used by possums, feral cats, rats, and mice as a travel route. The pointed spikes discourage animals from crossing or perching on the treated surface. Available in Black, Grey, and Brown to match the fence or building material. 5.4m per carton (12 x 450mm sections). Possums are protected native wildlife under legislation in every Australian state and territory. AvePro Possum Spikes are a humane deterrent only. They discourage possums from using a specific surface as a travel route. They do not trap or harm possums. If possums have established a den inside a roof cavity or building, that is a separate issue requiring a licensed wildlife handler. For residential properties, Possum Spikes are often installed as much for cat exclusion from gardens as for possum management. The product handles both on the same fence line. Choose the colour closest to the surface: Black for dark timber and metal, Grey for concrete and render, Brown for natural timber palings. Homeowner installable. Apply AvePro Bond adhesive to the underside of each section and press to the surface. Screw fixing is also available for timber surfaces. Cover the full width: animals will use any uncovered gap.

Warranty

Pest IT warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. This warranty applies under normal use and installation conditions. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, incorrect installation, modification, or normal wear and tear. Nothing in this warranty limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
