About AvePro Poly Mesh
AvePro Poly Mesh is a rigid polymer mesh for excluding birds, rodents, possums, and feral cats from commercial box gutters, enclosed architectural features, fascia gaps, and building cavities. Supplied in two standard widths (500mm and 1000mm) and the full Colourbond colour range. Custom made to order.
The product addresses access points that surface deterrent systems are not designed for. Box gutters, enclosed cavities, and fascia gaps are spaces where spikes, BirdWire, and Shock Track do not apply because the pest is entering a void, not landing on a surface. Poly Mesh blocks that access with a rigid physical barrier. On a commercial building with bird pressure on the ledges and rodent or possum access via the gutter line, Poly Mesh handles the gutter and cavity exclusion while surface deterrent products handle the ledges. One installation visit. Multiple access points addressed.
Colourbond colour matching means the mesh is fabricated to match the existing roof, gutter, and fascia specification. Once installed, it is essentially invisible against the building envelope. For building managers, architects, and asset managers on premium commercial buildings, colour-matched exclusion meets the brief where visible hardware has been rejected.
Poly Mesh also functions as a leaf guard. A commercial box gutter fitted with Poly Mesh stays clear of leaf debris, reducing gutter maintenance cost and water damage risk from blockages. The pest manager who presents Poly Mesh as solving pest exclusion and gutter maintenance from a single installation has a stronger commercial proposition for the building owner.
Possums are protected native wildlife. Exclusion of possums from roof voids and cavities must comply with state and territory wildlife requirements and may require a permit. Contact Pest IT for guidance on compliant possum exclusion.
