Requires Ratchet Crimping Tool (13-APTO-20) for correct crimp. A generic plier will not produce a secure, consistent crimp on 2.6mm ferrules.

Professional Installation

  1. Thread ferrule over cable end.
  2. Loop cable through anchor fitting (Pad Eye, Net Bolt, or Eye Bolt).
  3. Slide ferrule down to the loop position.
  4. Crimp ferrule with Ratchet Crimping Tool.
  5. Confirm crimp is fully closed and cable does not slip.

Approx 2-3 min per ferrule including threading and crimping. Trade Install

Maintenance

Consumable. Inspect crimp connections at annual check - replace any that have loosened.

Safety

Cable ends are sharp after cutting - wear gloves.
