Stainless steel bird spikes on a UV stabilised polycarbonate base. Entry-level AvePro spike for medium-pressure deterrence. Same 304 SS rods as the Deluxe. Clear base blends with most surfaces. Three widths (Narrow 70mm, Wide 140mm, X-Wide 175mm). 20m carton, 40 x 500mm sections.

✔ Stainless steel rods provide the same deterrent action as the Deluxe.

✔ Clear polycarbonate base is lighter and lower cost than the all-stainless Deluxe.

✔ Three widths (70mm, 140mm, 175mm). Note: these dimensions differ from the Deluxe widths and are specific to this product.

✔ Polycarbonate base cuts with standard scissors or a knife. Lighter and easier to handle than the stainless Deluxe base.

Advanced IPM

Integrated Pest Management Role

Same physical deterrence layer as Deluxe. The polycarbonate base has a finite outdoor UV lifespan. An installation that requires replacement in three years costs more in total labour and materials than a Deluxe installation that holds for ten.

Professional Installation

  1. Clean surface with AvePro Gotta Go Bird Dropping Remover. Allow to dry.
  2. Apply AvePro Clear Bond Poly or Silicone Bond Adhesive to spike base.
  3. Press sections firmly to the surface.
  4. Cut sections to length with AvePro Spike Cutting Shears or tinsnips at corners and endpoints.
  5. Check for and close all gaps at corners, joins, and around protrusions.

Approx 15-20 min per 20m carton for an experienced installer. Trade Install

Maintenance

Annual inspection recommended.
Check polycarbonate base for signs of UV degradation (yellowing, brittleness, adhesive softening).
If base degradation is found, replace with AvePro Bird Spikes Deluxe for long-term performance.
Clear any debris from spike clusters.

Safety

WHS at Height applies where installation is on roofs, elevated facades, or above 2m.
Wear PPE appropriate for the work environment and access method.
Avoid direct contact with sharp spike rods during handling and cutting.
