Monitoring is the IPM detect-and-document layer. The catch register is the audit's primary detection record.

Monitoring is the audit-rewarded detection layer. HACCP, SQF, BRCGS, and WQA all expect documented monitoring with placement on a site map, dated catch records, and escalation procedure when catches occur. Run the cycle even when traps are clean; an empty trap is the audit-acceptable outcome when documented. The works register documents every check including no-catch visits, plus cycle dates on monitor pads (pheromone decays whether or not the pad fills). Pest IT supplies the work through the Viper signature range and the MinkPolice IoT fleet.

HACCP, SQF, BRC, WQA all reward documented monitoring over catch counts. Run the cycle. Document every check, including no-catch visits. The empty trap is the audit-acceptable outcome when documented. Viper Cockroach Glue Traps lead the IPM detection layer. MinkPolice X-Trap Sensor compresses the manual inspection cycle to real-time.

Monitoring FAQs

IPM monitoring fleet. Viper Cockroach Glue Traps, Cockroach Monitor Pads, Insect Monitor Traps, Pantry Moth Trap, Stored Food and Flying Beetle L-Trap, MinkPolice X-Trap Sensor. Detect and document. Audit-ready for HACCP, SQF, BRC, WQA.

Monitoring is the IPM detect-and-document layer. After site preparation has removed the pheromone residue that draws birds and pests back to roost or harbourage, monitoring deploys pheromone deliberately as an attractant in the catch. Viper Cockroach Monitor Pads carry pheromone in the glue surface; the cockroach reads the chemistry as harbourage signal and lands on the catch. Viper Pantry Moth Trap uses species-specific pheromone for stored-product moths. Viper Stored Food and Flying Beetle L-Trap targets the beetle species in grain handling. Same chemistry that Site Preparation removes from a roost, deployed deliberately to bring the target species into the catch.

The catch register is the audit's primary detection record. HACCP, SQF, BRCGS, and WQA all expect a documented monitoring layer with placement on a site map, dated catch records, escalation procedure when catches occur, and cycle dates on monitor pads. Run the cycle even when traps are clean; the empty trap is the audit-acceptable outcome when documented. Auditors reward complete records over catch counts. Viper is the signature monitoring range across cockroach, moth, beetle, and broader IPM. MinkPolice X-Trap Sensor reports trip events in real time so the 24-hour manual inspection cycle compresses to a real-time response cycle.

Site Preparation runs ahead of monitoring deployment, removing pheromone residue at the surfaces where the target species would otherwise be drawn. Exclusion and Deterrence reduce incoming pressure so monitoring catches the breakthroughs rather than the whole population. Trapping covers escalation when monitoring detects sustained activity that calls for capture or dispatch. Each Family page covers Family-specific monitoring detail: the Cockroach collection covers cockroach monitoring depth, the Bed Bug and Heat Treatment Systems collection covers bed bug monitoring, Rodent Control Catalogue covers rodent monitoring including the MinkPolice IoT fleet.
