Maintenance

Replace glueboard on the service schedule or when approximately two-thirds of the adhesive surface is covered. Replace lamp at the service interval: LED at 8000 hours, UV at 5000 hours. Replace on the time schedule, not on visual inspection - UV output degrades before the lamp appears to fail. Wipe exterior as required.

Lamp: replace annually or at lamp life interval (LED 8,000 hours, UV 5,000 hours). Glueboards: replace on each service visit or when two-thirds covered.

Safety

Mains-powered electrical unit. Install to applicable Australian electrical standards. UV lamp emits ultraviolet light - do not look directly at the UV bulb when lit. Glueboards are a minor skin irritant - handle with care during servicing.

About Viper Decorative Fly Unit

Warranty

Pest IT warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. This warranty applies under normal use and installation conditions. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, incorrect installation, modification, normal wear and tear, or use of consumable components (including but not limited to glueboards, lamp tubes, and replacement bulbs). Nothing in this warranty limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
