About Eagle Eye Silver
The standard Eagle Eye unit for land bird deterrence. Current generation silver and gold holographic reflective surfaces tuned to deter the broadest range of land bird species: pigeons, crows, cockatoos, mynas, sparrows, and starlings. The rotating pyramid sends reflected light in a continuously changing pattern that birds in flight perceive as a threat, causing them to divert. No consumables. No chemical refills. No glueboard replacements. Once installed, the Silver operates on power alone. For the pest manager, that means a single installation fee, annual inspection only, and no ongoing consumable cost eroding the job over time. Eagle Eye deters birds in flight. It works best on sites where birds are beginning to investigate but have not yet committed to nesting or roosting. For the agribusiness operator watching cockatoos investigate the orchard or crows gather on the grain storage roof, the time to install is before the birds commit, not after. Once nesting is established, the program needs dispersal, clean-up, and physical deterrents before Eagle Eye can hold the site. 12V powered. The standalone Silver unit is for buyers adding capacity to an existing system. First-time buyers should start with a complete kit (Solar or 240V) which includes the power supply, post, base, and fittings. Quarterly cleaning of reflective surfaces is mandatory. A unit that loses reflectivity progressively loses deterrence strength, and birds habituate to a unit that is no longer flashing effectively. The quarterly clean is the maintenance commitment that keeps the system performing year after year.
