About Eagle Eye RED Marine Birds
The Eagle Eye RED Marine Birds is tuned for marine and aquatic bird species: seagulls, cormorants, ibis, ducks, and similar waterway and coastal species. The red-spectrum holographic reflective surfaces target the light wavelength most disruptive to these species in flight. The rotating pyramid sends continuously changing light patterns across the site, creating a perceived threat that causes birds to divert before they commit to landing. The Red unit also resolves a problem the Silver unit creates. On sites where the intense silver flash draws complaints from neighbouring buildings, offices, or residents, the red tint reduces flash severity while maintaining deterrence effectiveness. For the facilities manager who installed the Silver unit and then received three complaints from the neighbouring strata committee, the Red unit is the replacement that keeps the deterrence program running without the neighbour conflict. Eagle Eye deters birds in flight. It does not reliably deter birds already nesting or roosting at a site. For locations with established populations, the system sits within a layered program: disperse first, clean the site, install Eagle Eye for ongoing deterrence, and pair with AvePro physical deterrents to prevent re-establishment. Setting this expectation with the client upfront avoids a callback when the birds do not disappear overnight. Two housing colours (Silver and Red) are available under this product. Both are marine-tuned.. 12V powered. First-time buyers should start with a complete kit (Solar or 240V). Quarterly cleaning of reflective surfaces is mandatory.
