Maintenance

Clean the electric grid periodically with a soft brush to remove insect debris. Do not use water or cleaning products on the grid. Replace UVA lamp annually to maintain attraction output - UV output degrades before the lamp visually fails.

UV lamps: replace annually. Catch tray: empty on each service visit. Annual lamp replacement maintains attraction performance.

Mains-powered electrical unit with high-voltage kill grid. Install to applicable Australian electrical standards. Do not touch the electric grid when powered. UV lamp emits ultraviolet light - do not look directly at the lamp when lit. Keep away from children. Not for use in food preparation or food contact zones.

About BRC FlyinBOX Fly Zapper

In the waste room, the loading dock, and the dry storage corridor, fly pressure is high but nobody is auditing the glueboard. These are the zones where a zapper earns its place: immediate results, no glueboard to fill, no board replacement on the service schedule. The BRC FlyinBOX handles the back-of-house fly load so the glueboard units in the adjacent food zones are not overwhelmed. UVA lamp attraction draws flies into a high-voltage electric grid. 316 stainless steel with blue trim and a translucent surface that looks commercial without the industrial cage aesthetic of traditional zappers. Model 20 (20W) for smaller spaces. Model 40 (40W) for larger coverage and higher pressure areas. The pest manager who knows which zones get zappers and which zones get glueboards is the one who wins the multi-zone commercial account. The compliance boundary is not a suggestion: electric zappers must not be used in food preparation areas, food contact zones, or anywhere insect fragments could contaminate food. The FlyinBOX is for everything behind that line. Storage, waste, service corridors, loading docks, and industrial spaces where zappers are permitted. Getting the zone right protects the program. Getting it wrong risks the food safety certification. In a well-designed multi-zone installation, the FlyinBOX handles high-pressure back-of-house while glueboard units (Gluetrap or Inoxtrap 30\) cover the food zones. Two unit types, two compliance requirements, one program that covers the full building. No glueboard replacement on the FlyinBOX means lower ongoing service time than glueboard units, which offsets the higher service frequency that food-zone glueboards demand.

Warranty

Pest IT warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. This warranty applies under normal use and installation conditions. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, incorrect installation, modification, normal wear and tear, or use of consumable components (including but not limited to glueboards, lamp tubes, and replacement bulbs). Nothing in this warranty limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
