Viper Non-Chemical Fly, Rodent & Insect Monitoring | Pest IT – Page 6

Viper covers the commercial pest program with devices, not chemicals.

Food-safety audits, HACCP, SQF, BRCGS and WQA, check the pest program at every inspection: the monitoring records, the catch counts, the evidence the pressure is controlled. Viper's monitoring traps and stations produce those counts, and because the kit is non-chemical it doesn't add a residue or a restricted product for the audit to weigh. The design service maps the monitoring to the site, so the program supports compliance rather than leaving the pestie to assemble the records.

Spec Your Project

One non-chemical range to clear the program where chemicals can't go.

Viper covers the commercial program from one range: fly units and glueboards for flying insects, snap traps and secure stations for rodents, monitor pads and pheromone traps for stored-product moths, beetles and cockroaches, mosquito traps for the outdoor edge, and a fine 5mm netting for orchard and garden crops. Being device-driven, the monitoring it does produces the catch counts a food-safety program logs, without a residue near the product. The orchard net keeps fruit bats, flying foxes and possums off the crop on a weave fine enough not to entangle them, so the cover protects the fruit and the wildlife at once. It's the non-chemical kit that clears the pest and protects what the site or the season is worth.

Viper FAQs

Why one brand across fly, rodent, monitoring, and orchard work?

One stock holding, one reorder pattern, one design service, and one audit-records framework across the multi-zone site. The Viper kit was engineered per category, not packaged as breadth: 8000-hour rated on Attack and Strike fly units; all-weather rodent stations across snap-trap, bait, mouse, hi-security, and digital multi-catch sensor formats; pheromone monitoring traps on the industry-practice grid (roughly one trap per 30 metres of warehouse run); UV-treated polyethylene fruit tree nets at 5 by 5 millimetre diamond mesh; multi-attractant Pro Mosquito Trap on 304 stainless. The Pestie Catalogue holds the trade reorder pattern across the range; the Free Design Service maps the unit mix against the site.

Which Viper fly unit fits which site?

Viper Attack for energy efficiency and longer service life on continuous-run sites; the 2 by 4-watt T8 lamps carry an 8000-hour rated life across a 100 square metre coverage area on a 420 by 248 millimetre glueboard. Viper Strike for legacy installations and where the UVA wavelength suits the species mix; the unit runs either a 2 by 15-watt UVA glass-tube configuration (5000 hours rated) or a 2 by 4-watt configuration (8000 hours rated) at the same coverage. Viper Decorative for front-of-house dining areas where the unit needs to sit cleanly in the décor. The Free Design Service maps unit-to-zone for any site.

Will Viper rodent stations hold up at HACCP, SQF, and BRCGS audit?

The stations are designed to produce the records the audit framework expects. Station counts and the location grid lock at install. Maintenance logs, intervention records per fire-up, and trend lines across reporting periods are the documentation pack. Pest IT supplies the structured guide; the pestie running the program holds the protocol on site.

How often do Viper glueboards and pheromone lures need replacing?

Glueboards approximately every 4 weeks in standard food sites, every 2 weeks in high-pressure environments. Pheromone lures every 8 to 12 weeks depending on environmental conditions and target species. The Free Design Service maps the schedule against site type.

Will the Viper Fruit Tree Net hold up through an Australian summer?

Yes, on UV-treated polyethylene at a 5 by 5 millimetre diamond mesh and 30 GSM woven construction, carrying a 5-year UV rating. The mesh size suits the species pressure across silvereye, lorikeets, rosella, fig-bird, and currawong without restricting airflow at fruit set. The Premium Net with Velcro carries the closure plus drawstring for tree access during the season; the Net Bags carry the individual cluster cover for smaller blocks or backyard orchards.

Which Viper fly unit works in a dining room, café, or aged-care entry?

The Viper Decorative Fly Unit is the front-of-house format. Sized at 24 by 12.5 by 32.5 centimetres in a freestanding or wall-mount configuration, with an E27 lamp socket that takes UVA or. Standard white finish (black format coming) so the unit reads as part of the décor in dining areas, café interiors, and aged-care entries. The Free Design Service maps the front-of-house unit selection alongside the back-of-house program.

Viper covers the commercial pest program, fly, rodent, monitoring, mosquito and orchard, with devices instead of chemicals, so a food, sensitive or agribusiness site is cleared of the pest without a residue on the product or a chemical on the record.

The toughest commercial pest work often happens where a chemical leaves a residue or a record the site can't have. A food premises prepping for audit, a packing shed near the fruit, a kitchen where the spray can't go, the pest still has to be cleared, just not with anything that lands on the product. Viper is the device-driven range built for exactly that: fly, rodent, insect monitoring, mosquito and orchard, without the chemical.

Device-driven control has to do two jobs at once: clear the pest, and leave nothing behind the site can't have, no residue near the food, no loose net that snares a protected animal, no reliance on a rodent bait that's being pulled off the market. And that's where the work is heading: the same regulatory direction restricting those baits is pushing the trade toward non-chemical methods, so a kit that already works that way is the one that holds the contract as the rules tighten.

Viper is Pest IT's own range, so the free design service sits behind it. Send the sites and the pests through and Pest IT's team maps the kit across the round, the fly units, the station grid, the monitoring traps and the orchard cover, with the refill cadence that keeps it running between visits.

The toughest commercial pest work often happens where a chemical leaves a residue or a record the site can't have: food premises under audit, packing sheds near the fruit, kitchens, healthcare and high-security sites. The pest still has to be cleared, but with devices, not sprays or baits that land on the product.

Viper is the non-chemical, device-driven range built for those sites: fly units and glueboards for flying insects, snap traps and secure stations for rodents, monitor pads and pheromone traps for stored-product moths, beetles and cockroaches, mosquito traps for the outdoor edge, and a fine 5mm netting for orchard and garden crops. One range covers the program from monitoring through to control.

Because the kit is device-driven, it clears the pest without leaving a residue near the food, and the monitoring it does produces the catch counts a food-safety program logs. On the orchard side, the fine 5mm net keeps fruit bats, flying foxes and possums off the crop without the entanglement a loose, large-aperture net causes, a crop loss and a wildlife problem avoided at once. And it sits on the right side of where the rules are moving: as chemical rodenticides are restricted, the non-chemical methods Viper already uses are the ones the trade is being pushed toward.

Viper is Pest IT's own range, backed by the free design service. Send a round of sites and pests through and Pest IT maps the fly units, the station grid, the monitoring traps, the orchard cover and the consumable refill cadence to the contract, so the program is built to run between visits, not just installed.

Non-chemical control used to be the harder sell; now it's the one that keeps the work. The food, healthcare, high-security and agribusiness clients that drive commercial volume need methods that leave nothing on the product and nothing on the record, and as the chemical options narrow, the device-driven program is the one that holds the contract. That's the commercial case for Viper.
