Site Installed: Car dealership - Port Melbourne, VIC

Situation: Silver Gulls nesting on roof top and underneath assets such as air conditioning systems and elevated plant rooms. Tradesmen could no longer complete routine inspection/repair of assets safely as they were being attacked by the Silver Gulls. In addition, the bird feces were damaging roof surfaces and presenting a major health issue.

Bird Species: Silver Gulls

Pest Bird Impact: Defecation across roof top and sides of building, nesting clogging up drains and faulting assets on roof.

Result: No Silver Gulls activity to building since installation. Roof was pressure washed and hasn’t needed to be cleaned since.

Bird Species: Pigeons and Silver Gulls

Pest Bird Impact: Tradesmen would not go onto roof to repair assets as the dropping build up was knee deep in some areas around assets

Result: Pigeon and Silver Gulls population moved on with only a few of the birds persisting after the installation
